The Empowerment Training for Young People against Violence and Discrimination (ET-JuGenD) is a project by Cagintua e.V. that empowers young refugees aged 16–27 to prevent and discourage violence, combat discrimination, and promote peaceful coexistence within their communities.

Through interactive workshops, peer learning, community information seminars, and radio programmes, participants strengthen their knowledge of their rights, develop leadership and communication skills, and gain practical tools to prevent violence, challenge discrimination, and foster mutual respect and inclusion. As trained youth peer educators, they share their knowledge with others and contribute to building safer, more resilient, and more inclusive communities in Potsdam.
