About the Programme

The STDiA Summer Training Camp is a one-week learning programme designed to strengthen the role of diaspora communities as active contributors to climate justice, global learning and sustainable community development.

The programme combines practical education, reflection, dialogue and community-based action planning in an inclusive and participatory environment.

Day 1

Climate Justice & Global Interdependence

Foundations of climate justice, diaspora perspectives, dialogue and reflection.

Day 2

Community-Based Responses

SDGs, local action, inclusive participation and group work.

Day 3

Participatory Methods

Facilitation practice, storytelling, visualisation and simulation exercises.

Day 4

Excursion & Practical Learning

Educational visit to Feldheim and reflection on transferable lessons.

Day 5

Inclusion & Social Justice

Gender, accessibility, inclusion and community participation.

Day 6

Awareness & Networking

Mini-project planning, networking and intercultural exchange.

Day 7

Presentation & Closure

Project presentations, reflection, certificates and next-step commitments.

Featured Excursion

Participants will visit the Neue Energien Forum Feldheim in Brandenburg to explore a practical example of community-based renewable energy and sustainability in action.
