How has the pressure from home, most expecially from family and friends pussed some refugees into comitting suicides?
A lot of family and friends think and believe that as soon as their family member arrives in Europe he/she is in the best position to start sending them money. It's is not true. forcing these young girls and boys to be sending you money is just pressing them into doing illegal prostitution. Many of them have no working permit. How do you expect them to get work?
You must have been hearing a lot about dangers involved in travelling without travel documents? Have you?
What are travel documents? We are talking about your passport and visa that allows you to enter a country legally. If you don't have them you may be in for a lot of surprises as you move on on your journey to a new country.
Human traffickers would always tell you that no problem, no problem, well, depends on how you define problems. Isolation is a problem. Hiding away from police because you are living illegally is a problem. And this is also a problem. check it out

Young people love to hear stories directly from people who have first hand experience. They want to be able to ask questions directly from the actors. We will bring our actors along. The young people want to know how living in refugee camps in Germany is. Only refugees that have lived in those camps could provide complete answers to their questions. Is it true that refugees start to work as soon as they land in Germany? No, not true! Let us explain this to your group what our experiences about this really are. |
